Jaundice is a medical manifestation of too much bile (Bilirubin) in the blood, and can be cause by many factor affecting the liver. Jaundice is a yellowish tone of the skin and sclera (whites of the eyes). the term Jaundice comes from the French word for ashen, and is only a clinical sign of a deeper problem resembling liver disease occuring from cirrohsis, hepatitis, liver cancer etc.
